Supporting Our Sporting Communities

As part of our ongoing support for sporting communities, during the month of May 2013, the Allied Queensland Rugby League (QRL) truck will be touring Regional Queensland and visiting outback schools to meet local kids and their teams who play junior Rugby League. Details below:

• Miles – 18/5/13
• Charleville and surrounds – 19/5/13 to 21/5/13
• Blackall, Barcaldine – 22/5/13
• Winton, Ilfracombe – 23/5/13
• Longreach – 24/5/13

We will then be at the NRL Outback Shield in Barcaldine on 25/5/13. This is a carnival that brings kids between the ages of 14 and 16 together to play with others from the Far North West to the Far South West of Queensland.

At the carnival, two lucky teams will be chosen and invited down to the Sunshine Coast in June to play against other teams from around the bush and the coast. This will give kids who don’t usually get the chance to play rep footy the exciting chance to participate. They will also get the opportunity to go for a surf and have some fun at the beach!
