Allied are delighted that The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS have reappointed Kevin Sheedy as Head Coach for 2013.
As a foundation sponsor of the GIANTS, Allied have seen the enormous contribution that he has made to the GWS GIANTS and his experience and knowledge of the game is second to none.
Kevin Sheedy was inducted into the AFL Hall of Fame in 2008 and this year became the first person in the history of the VFL/AFL to reach 1000 games as a player and coach.
“I’m thrilled to have been asked by the GIANTS to continue as Head Coach next year and I’m really looking forward to continuing to develop this talented young playing group and help set this club up for long term success,” Sheedy said.
“I’ve really enjoyed the challenge of working with such a dedicated and committed group of people on and off the field and can’t wait for 2013 and what should be another exciting year for the club”.
“We have won two games this year in Canberra and at ŠKODA Stadium, had 36 young players make their AFL debut and also produced seven NAB AFL Rising Star nominees so there is a lot to look forward to in 2013″.
